I haven’t been saying much, so here, in bullet form, is what’s up with me:
Hallowed, Issue 2: I’m plugging away at the second draft. I have ten pages typed and the whole twenty two on paper.
Hallowed, Issue 3: Just put the first page on paper today. I’m all excited and shit. It’s almost time to start aggressively seeking artists for it.
A Deeper Shade of Gone: Page two is, I assume, still underway. The artist is not being particularly communicative about it. I’m going to give him some shit this weekend to at least make sure that it’s going to happen. I’m also hoping that someone will read this and decide that they can draw the next story. That would make me happy.
The Golem story: It’s underway, maybe half way, on paper. I’m strongly considering typing out the beginning to get a little feedback on whether or not you want to read the rest, but my ‘crack reader’ who is unlucky enough to live with me said that it could not be judged without the rest. Elusive asshole.
Other miscellaneous stories: I’m kind of at a standstill with these. I’ve given up on a few, I’ve posted them here, but there are more. I haven’t sent out a manuscript in a few months, though. I generally hit these dry spells because, let’s face it (and if you’re smart enough to not write you don’t have to), rejection letters are discouraging every time you get them. I will start doing that again soon, which will, hopefully, result in an announcement that I’ve been published. When I am published you will all buy whatever publication my work appears in, then you will write to the editor to tell them how incredibly talented and good looking I am, and that you would very much like to fellate me because of how fantastic I am as both a writer and an all-round human being.
Another idea: I had it just today. It might be something big. I’ve had a couple of big sounding ideas that are still on the back burner though, so who knows? They’re all good, though, I just need the time to develop and write them.
All offers of oral sex will be accepted or rejected at my discretion. Also, I really dig Firefox’s (relatively) new spell checker, but I’m more than a little surprised that it doesn’t recognize “fellate”. Seriously. Half of the stuff typed through Firefox is going to have to do with fellatio, which it does recognize, but not “fellate”?
Anyway, that’s what’s up with me.
Page 2 is still under way, yes. Sorry about being non communicative. Every time I think I’ll have time to work on it I either end up being way busier than I expect or I spend that time huddled under my desk in a foetal position, trying to make the world go away with my mind. No success yet on that; I’ll let you know how it goes.
Seriously though, I have worked more on your comic than I have on any of my own projects in the last couple of weeks. That’s not saying much, since my (apparent) lack of ability to get anything done has been stretching to all parts of my life, but rest assured that it is in the works.
And just a heads up (as warning, not threat): if you give me shit this weekend it may just make me less likely to work. This has happened in the past with other projects in a similar situation.

good, I’m glad to hear that you’re getting stuff done. Those trackbacks aren’t half as bad as some of the ones I’ve gotten. They mostly show up in older posts. It’s like the blogging equivalent of spam.
