Holy shit…
J-Row just pointed out to me that the “at-sign” has no name. I like to call it, “a-woo-ga!” and it makes me happy that it’s come up as a valid topic of conversation, since just calling it that gets me looks.
As clarification, I don’t actually know Mr. Rowland and the only thing he’s actually ever said to me is, “Hi.” while I was examining a tshirt that he was selling. I say that he pointed it out to me so that I feel important and less like I’m drifting aimlessly and alone through a world that’s frequently more horrible than even I can imagine.
Speaking of the horrible things in my head, I’m getting some serious work done on the novel, and I think Dave might be too. I’ll post an excerpt or two later tonight, or maybe tomorrow.
